It is similar to the military time format except it adds 24 hours to the times of the broadcast day that fall into the next calendar day. This format currently supports broadcast days that start at either 5 AM or 6 AM. The format is HH:MM where HH are two digits representing hours and MM are two digits representing minutes. For a broadcast day that starts at 5 AM and ends at 4:59 AM the next calendar day, the time format for 5 AM is 05:00, for midnight is 24:00, and for 4:59 AM the following calendar day is 28:59. For a broadcast day that starts at 6 AM and ends at 5:59 AM the next calendar day, the time format for 6 AM is 06:00, for midnight is 24:00, and for 5:59 AM the following calendar day is 29:59. In this format for the broadcast day that starts at 6AM, 30:00 current day is the same point in time as 06:00 of the following day. The same is true for 29:00 current day and 05:00 next day when the broadcast day starts at 5 AM. This is allowed for convenience, for example when referring to the exact end of a day in a time interval.
